About The North Shore Pro Musica

Founded in 1980, Long Island's North Shore Pro Musica has gained recognition for innovative programming and diversity of repertoire. One of our aims is to present substantial works by living composers.

The membership of the group permits flexibility for performances in various settings, including schools and other community facilities. Engaging people of all ages in the chamber music experience is a primary concern of the group.

We are partially funded by the New York State Council on the Arts, and a Decentralized Grant administered by the Huntington Arts Council and the Suffolk County Office of Cultural Affairs. A copy of the last Annual Report filed with the New York Department of State may be obtained upon request by writing to Nort Shore Pro Musica, P.O. Box 562, Setauket, NY 11733, or to the Office of Charities Registration, Dept. of State, Albany, NY 12231.
